How my son muscially inspired me to make my wish come true...

As a young girl, I remember going to the mall with my parents and looking at the large organs, with all of their colorful buttons, displayed in the center of the mall. I desperately wanted an organ, but that was not doable at the time. Every time we went there, I'd make my parents stop so I could admire them.

As I got older, I forgot about those organs. Then a friend of mine took piano lessons as an adult and the desire arose in me again...that of learning how to play the piano. But as time went on, I forgot once more.

Two years ago, I signed my son up for piano lessons. As I listened to him perfect his skills, that old longing arose within me. The songs he played sounded so beautiful. I began to "wish" that I could play the piano.

With my son's excited encouragement, I finally made my wish come true. I finished my first year of piano lessons last month. I can finally play some of the same songs that my son played when he first began his lessons, songs which I loved listening to.

His beautiful piano playing inspired me to make beautiful music too. If you're like me and have always wanted to learn to play an instrument, just remember, it's never too late to make that wish come true.
