Thankful to Be a Homeschooler

And a mighty sculpture was built.

This was the week where most public schooled children in our area went back to school.  As I heard the school bus stop to pick up some neighborhood children I thought about my children who were cuddling with their dad (well, actually my youngster was the one doing the cuddling) watching an episode of Leave It to Beaver and I said a silent prayer thanking God for giving me a heart's desire and the opportunity to homeschool my children.

Instead of riding a school bus to school, my children (and I) went to a local beach where we met with other homeschool families for our last "fun" gathering before our school year begins.

When people ask me, "How can you homeschool?"  I think, "How can I not?"
