As I prepare to say good-bye to 2013, I sit here and ponder over the upcoming New Year. Some thoughts that go through my mind include my prayers for the important people in my life; my hopes which I carry within my heart; and my goals which I will work towards reaching. I wanted to write these thoughts down so that at the end of 2014, I can look back to see how many prayers were answered, how many hopes were fulfilled, and how many goals were achieved.
Prayers
- Healing for loved ones that are struggling with an illness.
- Resolution among broken families.
- Protection, safety, and health over my family and friends.
- Openness to being used by God.
- That my children's faith in the Lord will grow stronger.
- That their bond will continue to be strengthened.
- That my marriage will continue to be blessed.
- That I will be able to help more homeschooling families.
- That I will continue to be blessed with time with my elderly parents and mother-in-law.
- Spend more time with God.
- Be a better wife, mother, and daughter.
- Relax more with my family and spend less time being busy.
- Host a seasonal tea party for my friends or for those that are seeking friendship.
- Finish reading through the Bible a second time.
- Reach my goal weight and maintain it.
- Be a better servant.
